Christ’s Leadership

Jesus crucifixion Murillo

Leadership necessitates righteous application of justice and mercy to those being led. A leader, therefore, must operate from a position of humility and submission. Humility through knowing they are no more worthy to lead than those being led. Submission by obeying the call of God to execute the task with vigor and faithfulness.

Jesus personifies all the preceding qualities of leadership: perfectly righteous submission, obedience, and humility before God the Father. Perfectly righteous application of justice and mercy for His flock.

In Jesus, Christian’s serve a perfect High Priest, a perfect Prophet, and a perfect King. Jesus is the perfect leader.
